Hastelloy c22 provides resistance to general corrosion, pitting, crevice corrosion, inter granular attack, and stress corrosion cracking. Inconel 22 can be used for many applications such as marine, power, chemical processing, pollution control, paper processing, and waste disposal industries. Hastelloy c22 contains chromium, molybdenum, tungsten, and iron which makes the alloy resistant to corrosion in stagnant or flowing seawater. The alloy is formed by gas tungsten-arc, gas metal-arc, and shielded metal-arc processes.

Inconel c-276 is a nickel-molybdenum-chromium alloy with excellent corrosion resistance in severe environments. Inconel c-276 is used in pollution control, chemical processing, pulp and paper production, and waste treatment.

• A very popular alloy for us, Hastelloy C-276 alloy is a nickel-molybdenum-chromium wrought alloy that is generally considered a versatile corrosion-resistance alloy. Hastelloy C-276 alloy is an improved wrought version of alloy C in that it usually doesn't need to be solution heat-treated after welding and has vastly improved fabricability.

This alloy resists the formation of grain-boundary precipitaties in the weld heat-affected zone. This makes it suitable for most chemical process applications in the as-welded condition. However, it should be noted that in environments where attack of the C-276 alloy weld joint is experienced, C-22 weld filler materials should be considered.
• Hastelloy C-276 alloy has superior resistance to corrosion and to both oxidizing and reducing media. Because of its adaptability, C-276 alloy can be used where "upset" conditions are likely to occur or in multipurpose plants.
